The big Michigan vs. Michigan State game is approaching fast on Oct. 17. For me and many others, it can't come soon enough.
You can hear talk between the two fan bases until the rivalry takes center stage at 3:30 p.m. on that Saturday in Ann Arbor. You won't hear "little brother" or "kid sister" chants, and all trash talk will be left on the field.
It will come down to what matters.
In preparation for the game, Campus Martius in downtown Detroit features a football field with both school's logos.
I love that Detroit is celebrating the rivalry. I will actually go downtown to check this out, will you?
