If you are looking to shop without having to deal with the elements, Great Lakes Crossing is the only enclosed Michigan outlet mall. They offer 185 manufacturer stores in this massive Auburn Hills facility. You'll find 25 shops and restaurants that aren't available anywhere else in Michigan. Located just off I-96 in Howell, this is a popular destination for those on the west side.  Tanger offers 75 name brand stores in this easy-to-navigate, open-air mall. Although this isn't the largest collection of outlet stores, it's a perfect choice for a relaxing afternoon of shopping. Tweens will find several of their favorite labels: Aeropostale, PacSun, Rue21, and Claire's, to name a few. The food court is on the smaller side, so you may want to consider taking a drive to nearby downtown Howell for a bite, or grab a Coney just outside the entrance.
