Berkley City Council Takes Another Look At Parking Issues Surrounding Vinsetta Garage
BERKLEY (WWJ) - A battle between a restaurant and a neighborhood could be decided Monday night. WWJ's Rob Sanford reports the Berkley City Council meeting might be crowded.
The neighboring residents around the restaurant Vinsetta Garage have complained about customers have taken up all the parking spaces in front of their homes.
In response, the restaurant purchased four homes along side the eatery on Oxford road, with plans to turn the land into a parking lot.
But that still didn't find approval among the opponents and the Berkley Planning Commission who turned down a zoning change request.
The City Council could decide to overturn that decision.
