Beckham's Catch Better Than 'The Catch' Johnson Made In College? Megatron Weighs In

ALLEN PARK (CBS DETROIT) - The touchdown catch hauled in by New York Giants rookie Odell Beckham Jr. dropped jaws of players and fans all over the country - Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson included.
"That catch he made a couple weeks again was the craziest I've seen ever, probably," Johnson said Wednesday. "I've never seen a catch like that. Extension and all, that was crazy."
Johnson did not label Beckham's grab better than the one Johnson himself made in his college days at Georgia Tech, but he certainly did not take anything away from the rookie.
"He stuck that one," Johnson said. "They're different catches, but on this level, that's pretty sweet."
Beckham went 12th overall to New York this season, and through eight games he has snagged 48 catches for 699 yards.
