CBS News Detroit Digital Brief for March 12, 2024

PONTIAC, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said a 23-year-old woman who was last seen on Jan. 19 has been found safe in Highland Park.

The sheriff's office was notified by Highland Park police on Tuesday, March 12, that Briana Marie Hall was found. It is unknown when she will be reunited with her guardian.

Authorities say Hall walked away from Common Ground, a crisis center in Pontiac, on Jan. 19 and hadn't been in contact with her legal guardian since then.

She didn't have a cellphone, and detectives believed she was in the Eastpointe area. Her legal guardian told authorities that Hall had a history of fleeing to Detroit, Flint, Grosse Pointe, and Highland Park.
