3 Dead After Shooting At Western Michigan Home

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say three family members are dead following a shooting at a home in western Michigan and investigators suspect one of them killed the other two during an apparent domestic dispute.

The shooting was reported Sunday evening in Holland Township. The Ottawa County sheriff's department says several people fled from the home, but three were still inside. Police tried to contact them without success for about two hours and a tactical team later found the bodies of a woman and two men.

Sheriff's Captain Mark Bennett says one of them was believed to be the shooter, but he didn't say which one.

Names of the dead weren't immediately released. Authorities are investigating, but Bennett says neighbors did not need to be concerned for their safety.
