Armed With Weapon, Woman Fends Off Carjacker In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A woman in Detroit turned the tables on a would-be carjacker - taking aim at him before he could take off with her car Monday morning.
Police in Detroit are searching for a suspect who may have been shot during an attempt to steal a car from a woman just before 5 a.m. near West Chicago and Auburn Street in Detroit.
According to police - the woman was legally carrying a gun and fired a shot at the would-be carjacker.
He fled from the scene.
Sources said police have found blood in the neighborhood of the incident but have yet to find the suspect.
