Another School Football Field Damaged In Monroe County
TEMPERANCE, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - Another sports field has been damaged in a Michigan community that earlier had a football field hit by vandals.
Someone recently drove over a football field at the shuttered Temperance Road Elementary in Monroe County, causing about $6,000 of damage, The Monroe News reported.
The field is used by the Bedford Hornets, a team of players ages 8 to 12. The school closed last year.
The field is the second damaged at a school in the area this year. In August, authorities say grass killer was used to leave the shape of a penis spanning the length of Bedford Community Stadium field. A woman, her teenage daughter and the daughter's boyfriend were charged in the case.
There were no indications in a police report that the incidents were related.
