Ann Arbor Huron High School Lockdown Lifted After Reports Of 'Unauthorized Person' Wearing Mask

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - An Ann Arbor high school was under lockdown, Friday afternoon, and police remain on the scene.

Ann Arbor Police tell WWJ Newsradio 950 the lockdown — at Huron High School in Ann Arbor — was due to "an unauthorized person" in the building, described as a man wearing a mask.

The unknown person was spotted on a security camera.

The lockdown was lifted around 3 p.m. after police searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary.

There were no reports of any weapons involved and no one was hurt, but police say they will remain on the scene as a precaution.

There were earlier reports that more than one school was on lockdown, but police said it was only Huron High.
