Here in Detroit, we all know the type of specimen Andre Drummond is. Soon enough, the whole world could know.
Drummond is currently trying out to make the Team USA basketball squad for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain. He got the best of former Michigan State Spartan and current Golden State Warrior, Draymond Green, in a practice on Monday, showing his defensive prowess.
The Instagram video below is evidence that Drummond could really be coming into his own on the defensive end:
With All Stars like Blake Griffin and Kevin Love opting to sit out of the tournament -- and if he can keep making plays like these -- Drummond has a great chance to showcase his skills on a world stage.
