Missing 14-day-old twins found safe in Detroit after Amber Alert issued in Livonia

LIVONIA, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Law enforcement officials have confirmed to CBS News Detroit that 14-day-old twin boys Montana Alexander Bridges and Matthew Jace Bridges have been found safe. 

Detroit Police Chief James White says the boys were dropped off at Detroit's 9th Precinct at about 9:30 a.m. Monday. The twins are being checked out at an area hospital and are in good condition. 

The Livonia Police Department says people have been brought in for questioning but no arrests have been made. 

The incident continues to be treated as an abduction. 

Authorities issued an Amber Alert Monday morning for the twins that were taken from Livonia.

According to Michigan State Police, the alert was issued by the Livonia Police Department for 14-day-old twin boys Montana Alexander Bridges and Matthew Jace Bridges.

The suspects may be traveling in a black Jeep Cherokee with chrome trim around the passenger windows. 

In addition, it is believed that the twins are only wearing diapers.
