Amber Alert: 1 Indiana Teen Found Safe, 1 Still Missing After Chase In Detroit; 3 Suspects In Custody

UPDATE 8:45 PM -- FOX 2 has reported that 16-year-old Aaron Blackwell has been found safe after a police chase on the southwest side of Detroit and that three suspects are now in custody. 13-year-old Emma Blackwell is still missing.

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) -- Two teenagers from Indianapolis are thought to be in extreme danger after they were abducted at gunpoint from their home early Monday morning.

Police believe the kids could have been taken to Michigan and are headed to the Detroit area, but have not given a reason why.

Indianapolis police spokesman Rafael Diaz Jr. said Monday evening that a "person of interest" was in custody in Michigan.

16-year-old Aaron Blackwell and his 13-year-old sister Emma Blackwell were taken by around 3 a.m. Monday morning. Police do not believe this was a random abduction and say that there were three people involved in the kidnapping.

A black Cadillac Escalade and a black Dodge Charger are thought to have been the getaway vehicles.
