Accident Kills 1, Leaves 6 Others Injured On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - One person is dead and six others injured in a serious accident on Detroit's east side.
It happened Tuesday night on Withorn Street near Gunston, when a woman driving a blue minivan was apparently trying to get away from someone shooting at her according to televised reports.
The woman lost control of her car and hit several parked cars and reportedly died at the scene.
The people that were injured were sitting in one of the vehicles that was hit by the minivan.
Detroit police are investigating the incident but haven't confirmed if anyone was actually hit by any bullets.
