911 Lines Down In Auburn Hills
AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - The 911 phone lines went down Thursday in Auburn Hills.
According to officials, updates were being done to the emergency system, and the backup system failed.
As of Thursday afternoon, all 911 calls were being routed to the Rochester Police Department. Police asked that callers be patient because the dispatcher there doesn't know the area very well.
If you have an emergency, you can also call the Auburn Hills non-emergency line at 248-370-9444.
Officials could not offer an estimated time when the system would be back up and running.
