Police: 85-Year-Old Man Missing On Detroit's West Side Found
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police tell WWJ that an 85-year-old man who went missing from his home on the city's west side Tuesday has been found.
Police released few details about the man's return.
Earlier in the day: Police said Algie Finney Jr.was last seen by his daughter Tuesday at their home in the 7000 block of Linsdale, in a neighborhood near Joy Road and Livernois Avenue.
Finney's daughter, Annette, told police she heard a door close at about 2 a.m. and then later discovered that her father was missing.
Finney is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5'9" tall and 148 lbs. with brown eyes, a bald head, and gray goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue turtle neck, brown pants and blue house shoes, with no coat.
Police say Finney, who has dementia, often likes to walk on Tireman Street.
