2 Arraigned After 'Gun Battle' In Inkster

INKSTER (WWJ) -- Two men have been arraigned in connection with a homicide in Inkster where a man was killed in a "gun battle" on May 13.

The Wayne County Prosecutor handed down a two-count warrant for felony firearms and felon in possession of a firearm to Lucky Steven Hurst, 26, of Inkster, who was arraigned in the 22nd District Court. His bond was set at $20,000

A two-count warrant for assault with intent to murder and felony firearms was given to Eric Anthony Stephens, 25, of Inkster, whose bond was set at $50,000.

An investigation is ongoing. There are no other suspects in custody for the incident.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on May 13 on Moore St., in a neighborhood near Annapolis and Inkster roads.

Troopers arrived on the scene and found the body of an adult male in the street. Further up the block, troopers found multiple bullet casings.
