Waterford Police Search For Suspects In Armed Robbery Of 7-Eleven [VIDEO]

WATERFORD (WWJ) -- Police in Waterford are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects in the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven on Saturday.

Officers responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store on Scott Lake Rd. in Waterford for an armed robbery complaint on May 9. Arriving Officers spoke with the two store employees who said that two male suspects entered the store and robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspects fled the scene with over $500 in cash from the register, several packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets. The suspects were last seen traveling north on foot from the store.

Investigators are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects from the surveillance footage taken during the incident.

One suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet to 6-foot-3, 250 to 280 pounds, in his mid-20s, wearing a gray hoodie, a black shirt, pants, shoes and hat with white gloves. He was armed with a black semi-auto handgun.

The other suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black shirt, pants and shoes and white gloves carrying a black backpack.

Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public.

The incident remains under investigation.
