3rd Child Dies Following 'Suspicious' Flint House Fire That Killed 2 Others
FLINT (WWJ/AP) - A teenage girl has died following a house fire that left two other children dead last week on Flint's south side.
MLive.com reports Monday that Brianna Beaushaw died Sunday, two days after 13-year-old Onyah Starkey and her 4-year-old brother, Kaydon Hull were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Brianna was spending the night at a friend's house when the fire started about 6 a.m. Friday at the home in the 600-block of Vermilya Ave. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but eventually succumbed to her injuries.
The fire is now being called "suspicious" and a man and a woman have been arrested in the case. Their names have not yet been released.
Neighbors told MLive the family had only recently moved in and they didn't know much about them. Just days before the fire neighbors said they found the boy wandering the neighborhood in only a t-shirt.
The Genesee County prosecutor's office is reviewing possible charges.
