$25,000 Reward Offered In Federal Judge's Shooting
DETROIT (AP) — The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for information that solves the shooting of a federal judge.
Flint federal Judge Terrence Berg had surgery Friday and is doing well. The update comes from his wife, Anita Sevier, who says Berg will require more surgery.
Berg was shot in the leg outside his Detroit home Thursday night. The FBI says it appears to have been an attempted robbery and not related to his work as a judge. Two young men fled in a dark sedan, possibly a Dodge Charger.
Berg has been a judge for two years after a long career as a federal prosecutor in Detroit.
