2 people killed in head-on collision on US-12 in Washtenaw County
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Police say two people were killed in a head-on collision along US-12 in Washtenaw County on Wednesday.
According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, one of the vehicles crossed the center line and collided with the other vehicle head-on. Both drivers, including a 23-year-old woman from Wayne, were killed in the crash. Police are attempting to identify the other driver.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
Officials say US-12 is closed between Wiard and Ecorse roads until further notice.
