17-Year-Old Girl Killed In Head-On Collision
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) -- Sterling Heights police continue to investigate a head-on crash that killed a 17-year-old girl and left another 43-year-old in critical condition.
Police say the older driver was driving an SUV that crossed the center line on Plumbrook Rd. near Plainview Friday night and crashed into the teen's car. The impact of the collision pushed the car back 75 feet.
There are reports the 43-year-old worked for the Warren Fire Department. He remains in critical condition.
Police aren't saying if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
