1 Killed In Crash Involving Semi Along I-69
LAINGSBURG, Mich. (WWJ) - At least one person is confirmed dead following an accident Monday afternoon along I-69 in Shiawassee County.
Michigan State Police Sgt. Clinton Keene says the accident involved a tractor-trailer truck, but he couldn't confirm how many victims were involved — other than to say one person had died.
It happened on the eastbound side of I-69 at Woodbury Rest Area 830, in Laingsburg, west of Perry.
It's not clear at this time what caused the accident. Keene said an investigation is ongoing.
There was no information immediately available about the fatal victim.
