Woman Shot During Late-Night Motorcycle Ride Through Garden Of The Gods
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs are searching for the person who opened fire on a woman on a motorcycle in the Garden of the Gods.
The shooting happened at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday, according to police. They say the victim and her husband were on the motorcycle when they passed another vehicle that started following them.
At some point the woman felt a sharp pain in her back, which turned out to be a gunshot wound when the couple got home and inspected her back. The woman was taken to the hospital and police were called. Her injuries weren't considered life-threatening.
Due to the darkness there isn't a good description of the shooter or the vehicle.
