Woman Walking On I-70 In Vail Struck, Killed

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle as she attempted to walk on a busy highway in Summit County.

Authorities say Starrla Feldmann, 21, died around 2 a.m. Sunday as she was walking on Interstate 70 in Vail.

Witnesses say Feldmann left her home shortly before the accident but it's unclear why she walked onto the highway.

The driver has not been charged.
