BELLVUE, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Larimer County tased a 22-year-old stabbing suspect on Friday night after he had been held at gunpoint by a witness.

Deputies responded to Rist Canyon Road and County Road 23 in Bellvue at approximately 9 p.m.

A woman was stabbed in the neck area and on her hands. Her injuries were described as being non-life threatening.

The witness called 911 while he was holding the suspect, Evan Shockley, at gunpoint.

After deputies arrived they said Shockley failed to follow commands and became combative.

Deputies then used a taser on him and arrested him.

On Saturday authorities said Shockley was not being cooperative in custody to the point where they were able to take a mugshot of him.
