Windsor Bicyclist Killed In Hit & Run

WINDSOR, Colo. (CBS4) – Police are looking for a driver who stuck and killed a bicyclist and then drove off on Saturday in Windsor.

According to police, the vehicle and the bicyclist were traveling northbound on Frontage Road off Interstate 25 around 5:30 p.m. when the vehicle hit the bicyclist from behind.

The vehicle then left the area.

The bicyclist, 46-year-old Ernesto Wiedenbrug, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a Loveland hospital where he later died.

The vehicle is described as a silver sedan and was last seen traveling northbound on Frontage Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
