Will Colorado Kids Soon Be Standing More In Class?

DENVER (CBS4) - A California elementary school is getting kids to stand more and some are wondering if the idea will come to Colorado.

Vallecito Elementary in San Rafael is the first in the country to have standing desks in most classrooms. Supporters say studies show allowing kids to move during the day can improve grades and help kids burn more calories.

A group called Standup Kids hopes to help raise money to get more schools nationwide to follow.
