Westminster's New Downtown Under Construction, Making Progress

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - The new downtown area in Westminster is currently under construction at the site of the former Westminster Mall off the Boulder Turnpike.

Developers now say a theater will be included on the 105-acre site. They shared pictures of the site on Wednesday.

New access roads will be built near the existing JC Penny store. The new shopping area will also be bike-friendly and have running trails.
