Wash Park Loop Gets Makeover
DENVER (CBS4)- A popular park among cyclists, runners, rollerbladers and power walkers is getting a makeover so that everyone can use the loop around the lake.
The 2.2 mile road that goes around the lake at Washington Park is a continuous loop around the lake. It's closed to automobile traffic.
The plan is to improve the separation between pedestrians and cyclists as well as parking for vehicles.
The project started on Monday and will last about four weeks.
