Wanted RTD Bus Robbery Suspect Captured

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4)- The robbery suspect who left an RTD bus driver injured was captured late Tuesday night after he was recognized.

The suspect was wanted for attacking a bus driver Friday morning in Highlands Ranch. Douglas County Sheriff's deputies had described the man as "dangerous."

Deputies captured the suspect, identified as Malcolm Ray Johnson, about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after he was recognized. Johnson, 36, was arrested near Ridgeline Boulevard and Monument Driver in Highlands Ranch.

The driver in last week's attack suffered injuries to his shoulder and back. He is expected to return to work after his recovery.
