Volunteers Prepare 800,000 Christmas Shoeboxes For Overseas Children
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Hundreds of volunteers gathered in Aurora Monday morning to prepare Christmas gifts for needy children overseas.
The event was all part of Operation Christmas Child. The volunteers prepared 800,000 shoeboxes filled with toys, schools supplies and hygiene items.
The gifts will now be processed and delivered to children worldwide.
