Victims In Deadly Plane Crash Identified
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - The two people who died in a plane crash north of Greeley Tuesday morning have been identified.
The plane crashed at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday in a field near County Road 80 and County Road 43 near the town of Ault.
The two individuals on board the plane were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Jared Langston and Benjamin Bates, both of Kansas.
Langston was a flight instructor and Bates was a bishop with the Mormon Church.
The cause of the crash is not immediately known and the Weld County Sheriff's Office along with the Federal Aviation Administration are conducting a full investigation.
The Weld County Sheriff's Office said they were flying a single-engine Bonanza.
