Vehicle fire shuts down stretch of I-70 in Genesee

A stretch of Interstate 70 was shut down due to a vehicle fire in Genesee on Saturday afternoon. The fire was out, and the roadway was back open at around 2:30 p.m.

According to CDOT, I-70 was closed completely on westbound lanes between Lookout Mountain exit 256 and US-40 exit 254.
