Teen Gets Injured In Lyons After Tubing Accident
LYONS, Colo. (CBS4) - First responders rescued a teenager who was swept down St. Vrain Creek without a life jacket on Sunday. It happened at Lavern M. Johnson Park at approximately 6 p.m.
The boy was tubing and tried to get out of the creek when his tube deflated, but was unable to.
Multiple search and rescue staff helped in the search for the teen. A few hours later he was located. He was hurt but able to walk back to the park and was reunited with his family.
