Trinidad Man Accused Of Running Illegal Hunting Operation

TRINIDAD, Colo. (CBS4)- Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers arrested a Trinidad man who was accused of running an illegal hunting operation.

People allegedly paid $3,000 to go on those hunts. Officers say James Hirschboeck did not have the proper licenses to run his company "Colorado Elk Adventures."

Officers went undercover to investigate and say Hirschboeck threatened a hunter with hammers and mace when the man asked for his money back.

Hirschboeck is facing thousands of dollars in fines and possible jail time.
