Loveland High School Janitor Arrested In Child Pornography Case
MILLIKEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A janitor at Loveland High School is under arrest and being held at the Weld County Jail on child pornography charges.
Officials in the Weld County Sheriff's Office say Tracy McDowell, 40, of Milliken, is facing a charge of sexual exploitation of children.
Police said they were "made aware of an email transfer that contained suspected sexually exploitative material" a month ago. They said they determined McDowell was responsible and eventually obtained a warrant and searched his home.
Approximately 200 child pornography images were found, according to investigators. McDowell was arrested and the school was notified.
Police said they don't suspect any students at the school are victims in the case.
