The Broncos Turn Ball Over 4 Times But Still Lead The Chargers 7-6 At Halftime
DENVER (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Broncos lead the Chargers 7-6 at halftime.
One the second play of the second quarter Brock Osweiler was sacked by Chargers cornerback Steve Williams and fumbled the ball which was recovered by Williams, his second fumble recovery of the game.
On the Broncos third possession of the quarter Osweiler threw another interception that led to a field goal by Chargers kicker Josh Lambo to make the score 7-6.
The Broncos have four turnovers in the game, three at the hands of Williams who also had an interception in the first quarter. Luckily the Chargers could only muster 3 points off all the turnovers.

Bronco safety Darian Stewart left the game in the first quarter with a pulled hamstring and his return is questionable.

Osweiler finished the half going 13/21 for 222 yards. Ronnie Hillman led the ground attack with 45 yards on eight carries. Demaryius Thomas led all receivers with 101 yards on four catches.
