Teacher's Aide Found Allegedly Passed Out With Syringe In Arm Faces Judge
DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) - A Denver teacher's aide accused of being passed out in a grade school bathroom with a syringe sticking in her arm faced a judge Thursday morning.
Court documents state four first-graders discovered Cassandra Rein on the floor of the bathroom at the Denver Center for International Studies at Ford Elementary School.
Police say they also searched Rein's purse and found various pill bottles, more syringes and metal caps containing a burnt powder substance residue.
Rein is facing possession of a controlled substance charges and is expected back in court next Tuesday.
