Suspect Identified In Adams County Deputy Crash

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators have identified the suspect facing charges after allegedly crashing into an Adams County deputy last week.

Investigators believe David Martinez had been drinking when he rear-ended the sheriff's office SUV.

Sgt. Aaron Pataluna, who was at the wheel, suffered a broken neck but was not paralyzed. Pataluna was stopped at a red light when the crash happened.

Martinez is facing charges of DUI and vehicular assault.
