Students Injured In Bus Crash In Boulder County Foothills

LYONS, Colo. (CBS4) - Five students and a bus driver were hurt in school bus accident in the Boulder County foothills on Monday afternoon.

The bus rolled over late Monday afternoon on Highway 7, about seven miles west of Lyons.

There were eight students on board the bus at the time of the accident. The students who were hurt were described as having minor and moderate injuries.

All of the students were St. Vrain Valley School District students.

The highway was closed for several hours after the accident p.m.

School officials told parents that they could reunite with their students at Lyons High School.
