Small Increase In Water Bills Approved In Steamboat Springs

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Some Steamboat Springs residents can expect to see an increase in their water bill every year until 2024. City Council approved a 2% yearly increase for the next three years by a unanimous vote.

The goal is to help with water conservation efforts and prevent future drought.

The average resident can expect to see their bill increase $1 per year.
