State Patrol Reminds To Buckle Up After Passenger Thrown From Car On E-470

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado State Patrol is reminding the public about the importance of wearing a seat belt after a crash threw a car passenger from the vehicle.

The crash occurred Sunday afternoon on E-470 at 6th Avenue. One car was involved in the accident and both the driver and passenger were injured. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.

The passenger suffered more serious injuries than the driver.

The names of the crash victims haven't been released.
