Snowstorm Moving In On Colorado's Front Range
DENVER (AP) - A snowstorm moving into Colorado could bring up to three inches of snow for the Front Range on Presidents Day and some much needed snow to central Colorado ski areas.
The National Weather Service says the Eastern Plains, Front Range metro areas and eastern mountains can expect snow Sunday evening into Monday. Forecasters say higher mountain areas in central Colorado, including Vail and Steamboat Springs, can expect up to six inches of snow overnight.
On Saturday, about 400 people showed up for the Polar Plunge in Lyons in 65-degree weather that was decidedly un-polar compared with previous years.
