Skier Triggers Avalanche On Berthoud Pass

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Avalanche Information Center released new video that shows a skier triggering a small avalanche on Berthoud Pass.

It is called a "storm slab" avalanche, and happened Friday at approximately 11,000 feet in elevation.

The skier was caught in the snow and buried up to his waist, suffering a minor leg injury.
