Kilcollins is described as a white male, 6-foot, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair that may have been shaved. He was last seen wearing a white hat, white long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

The shooting happened early Wednesday morning at the Victoria apartment complex near the intersection of 38th and North Quail Court.

The man was taken to the hospital and so far it's not clear what the extent of his injuries are.

Several cars outside the apartment complex had bullet holes in them after the shots were fired. A witness also said they heard someone driving off with screeching tires afterwards.

Police said they think the suspect and the victim knew each other and that the public is not in danger. Detectives are searching for Kilcollins, 29, who sped away in a dark grey colored sedan, possibly a Hyundai Elantra, with a white Playboy bunny sticker in the window.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wheat Ridge Police at 303.237.2220.
