Southbound Lanes Of I-25 Reopen After 8-Vehicle Crash
DENVER (CBS4)- The southbound lanes of Interstate 25 approaching Interstate 70 were closed about 6 p.m. Friday for about 90 minutes because of several accidents in the area. All lanes reopened about 7:30 p.m.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said there were eight vehicles involved with serious bodily injuries. It is unclear how many people are injured.
Officers reopened I-25 about 90 minutes later.
CDOT did not provide details as to what may have caused the accidents in the area known as the "mousetrap."
