Alternating Traffic Allowed On Highway 40 After Semi Crashes West Of Hot Sulphur Springs In Byers Canyon

GRAND COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A semi rollover closed CO 40 west of Hot Sulphur Springs in Byers Canyon on Tuesday. As of 2:35 p.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation says alternating traffic is being allowed through on Highway 40.

It's not clear when the highway will fully reopen.

The rollover happened just after 10 a.m. Tuesday near mile marker 201. Hot Sulphur Springs Fire, Granby Fire, the Grand County Sheriff's Office, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Department of Transportation and EMS are responding to the accident.
