Coroner: Runner's Death By Rattlesnake Is An Accident
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Jefferson County coroner says the death of an endurance athlete who was bit by a rattlesnake was an accident.
It happened when the snake bit Daniel Hohs in the lower leg while running up from the Mount Galbraith Trailhead in Golden in October.
The 31 year old died immediately.
The coroner says the snakebite acted like a direct injection of venom to his organs.
