Rep. Dan Pabon Goes Back To Work After Arrest

DENVER (CBS4)- State Rep. Dan Pabon made a brief appearance in the House chambers at the state Capitol on Monday after his arrest for investigation of DUI.

Police in Denver pulled over Pabon, 38, at Colfax Avenue and Glenarm on Thursday night. He was also cited for an improper turn and a license plate issue.

Officers arrested Pabon on investigation of DUI. According to the police probable cause statement, Pabon exhibited the following, slurred speech, mumbling, breath had strong odor of alcohol, balance was swaying, eyes bloodshot.

Pabon is a Democrat representing District 4 in Northwest Denver. He was elected in 2010 and took office in 2011. Pabon is an attorney.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
