Red Rocks Park to feature a drive-through holiday lights experience for the first time
A drive-through holiday lights experience is coming to Red Rocks. The display is called Christmas in Color, and while it has been featured at other locations in the Denver metro area during the holidays, this is the first time it will be at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre.
The attraction features more than 1 million lights and it is synchronized to holiday music that can be played on car radios that are dialed to a specific frequency.
Denver Arts & Venues says there's never been a winter holiday experience like this at the park, which is located at 18300 West Alameda Parkway in Morrison.
The experience will open up on Friday and it will be an option for families and friend groups through most of the month of December. Reservations can be made at christmasincolor.net.
Prices start at $34 per car, and there are special party packs available for an extra cost that include light wands, 3D glasses and other fun items to enhance the experience.
This holiday season the Christmas in Color display will also be at Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora and Water World in Federal Heights.
